Hyderabad, Oct. 9 -- The nomination process for the first phase of Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) elections in Telangana commenced on Thursday.
Returning officers have issued notifications marking the formal start of the process. Nominations will be accepted until October 11, followed by scrutiny on October 12. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is October 15. Polling for the first phase will be held on October 23, and counting of votes is scheduled for November 11.
In the first phase, elections will be conducted for 292 ZPTC and 2,963 MPTC seats across the state.
