Deoghar (Jharkhand), July 5 -- The Deoghar district administration on Saturday reaffirmed that no VIP, VVIP, or out-of-turn darshan will be permitted at the Baidyanath Dham temple during the month-long Shravani Mela.
Deputy commissioner-cum-district magistrate Naman Priyesh Lakra said the restriction, enforced since 2015, is in accordance with state government directives aimed at ensuring the safety and smooth movement of the large number of devotees expected during the mela.
The administration clarified that the temple premises will function as a 'No VIP Zone' throughout the religious event, and no exceptions will be granted.
