Kolkata, March 30 -- : Amid ongoing infighting within the party over party ticket distribution, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee issued a strong message to dissenters during an election rally in Narayangarh.
"Denial of a party ticket should not lead to rebellion. Not getting a ticket does not mean one should oppose the party," she said.
"Discipline is the main pillar of the party and it cannot be compromised at any cost. The leaders should remain united and stay focused on public service. Those who stay connected with people, work for the people, will be considered for tickets. There is no reason for resentment if they are not selected," she added.
