Karimnagar (Telangana), May 4 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has firmly stated that there is no justification for holding talks with Maoists who have taken innocent lives through violence.
Speaking at an event after unveiling a Hanuman statue in Kothapalli, Karimnagar district, Sanjay criticised past and present political efforts to engage with Maoists. "There is no point in talking to those who have killed innocent people with guns. Until they drop their weapons, any dialogue is meaningless," he asserted.
He reminded that it was the Congress itself that once banned the Maoists and accused the group of planting landmines and murdering leaders from across party lines, including the BJP, Congress, and TDP. He...
