Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that there is no shortage of urea in the state and farmers should not worry.
He held a teleconference with agricultural officials on Sunday and said that another 81,800 metric tons of urea will arrive in the state this week. In the last Yasangi, farmers purchased 6.9 lakh metric tons of urea by February 20, but this time they purchased 8.80 lakh metric tons, while last year they purchased 1.99 lakh metric tons in February, and this year they purchased 2.59 lakh metric tons in February 20.
