Jammu, March 11 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Satish Sharma on Wednesday allayed fears of residents regarding shortage of fuel in the union Territory.

He also warned black marketeers and hoarders of dire consequences.

"Petroleum and LPG supplies are adequate across the region," Sharma told reporters while assuring the general public.

He said the government is closely monitoring all fuel stations and LPG outlets and anyone found hoarding or indulging in black marketing will face stringent legal action.
