Bengaluru, May 27 -- Karnataka has recorded a total of 135 COVID-19 cases since January 1 this year, the Department of Health and Family Welfare said in its daily bulletin on Monday.
The state also reported 54 recoveries and one COVID-related death during this period.
Although new infections continue to surface sporadically, the virus has shown limited severity in recent weeks.
As of Monday, 80 active cases are being monitored statewide. Of these, only four patients are hospitalised, one in a government facility and three in private hospitals. Significantly, no patients are currently in intensive care or on ventilator support, and no oxygen-supported isolation beds are in use, the bulletin noted.
