Srinagar, July 31 -- President of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Ghulam Nabi Azad, today said there was no reason not to believe Prime Minister Narendra Modi that no foreign leader had asked India to pause Operation Sindoor.
Azad's remarks came in response to questions regarding US President Donald Trump's repeated claims of mediating the May 10 ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
"Mr. Trump speaks so many things. Unfortunately, he speaks so many things. So it is very difficult," Azad told reporters in Srinagar.
Azad emphasised that the Prime Minister had categorically denied such claims in Parliament.
