Karimnagar, Aug. 11 -- Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu today asserted that there is no political interference in the ongoing phone tapping investigation, adding that Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials will decide whom to summon for questioning.
Speaking to the media during his visit to Karimnagar, Sridhar Babu said the government is taking all necessary precautions to prevent incidents like the Medigadda project .
He criticised the BJP for "entering into an agreement with the BRS as a defaulter" and reminded that the Congress had promised a judicial inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project in its manifesto - a promise that has been fulfilled.
