Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 8 -- Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has reportedly informed the high command that he has no plans to present himself as the Congress's Chief Ministerial candidate in the upcoming Kerala assembly elections.
In a meeting with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi a few days ago, Tharoor reportedly made it clear that he would not be a contender for the CM post in Kerala.
Tharoor informed the leadership of his stance at a time when rumours were circulating that Tharoor would be the Chief Ministerial candidate of the Congress-led UDF.
