Ambala, April 3 -- Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said that no person in Ambala would sleep empty stomach till the lockdown, announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continues.
He further said that dry ration had been distributed among 4000 families in one week.
More than 2000 food packets were handed over to the Home Minister by the voluntary organization during the meeting of workers convened him at the Aggarwal Dharamshala Ambala Cantt which would be distributed among the needy families.
Mr Vij stated that the voluntary organisations were raising funds and rations at their initiative and were coming forward to take responsibility of feeding the needy families.
