Chandigarh, May 2 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Friday said that the state's water belongs to the state and no one would be allowed to take a single drop of it. Mann was speaking to the media after an all-party meeting in which, along with ruling Aam Aadmi Party, opposition parties such as the Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal, Communist Party of India and the BJP participated. The BJP was represented by the party's state unit chief Sunil Jakhar and former Minister Manoranjan Kalia. Jakhar said he was a Punjabi and stands with the state.
