Mumbai, June 22 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mumbai President and state Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar claimed here on Sunday that the condition of the Shiv Sena (UBT) party is dangerous and dilapidated.
Shelar said that Shiv Sena (UBT) has become dangerous due its "anti Hindutva" policies and added that the group has given up Hindutva ideas which were espoused by the late Balasaheb Thackeray.
"No one is ready to stay in this dilapidated party," said Shelar who is also State Cultural Affairs Minister.
Former corporator Ishwar Tayde of Shiv Sena (UBT) group and former corporator Akanksha Shetty joined BJP along with their supporters today.
