Patna, Jan. 13 -- Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi said that when no one was ready to accept Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar as I.N.D.I. alliance convenor, then it was being pleaded that he refused to accept the post.

Modi said here on Saturday that consensus could not be developed for the post even after four meetings of the alliance. The seat-sharing issue in the I.N.D.I. alliance remained the same as it was, he alleged, claiming that seat-sharing possibilities were next to impossible in West Bengal, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh.
