Chennai, April 18 -- Apparently referring to Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar's remarks on the Supreme Court setting time frame for President to take decisions on a plea filed by Tamil Nadu over the delay in Governor granting assent to Bills passed in the State Assembly, Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin said "no one, however high, can be above the law."

In a social media post, he said the SC's historic verdict on course correction has rattled many anti-democratic forces as it was a step towards resetting the process.

He said the need of the hour was to ensure that this reset is implemented in its true spirit.
