New Delhi/ Mumbai, Dec. 17 -- Senior leader of the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and its National Working President Praful Patel clarified on Wednesday that no official decision has been taken regarding contesting elections together with both factions of the NCP.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Patel said that while suggestions do come from some party workers, the leadership has not taken any formal decision so far. "Workers often give their opinions, but we as leaders have not taken any decision. As the Mahayuti, we are strong and united," he asserted.
