Patna, Oct. 8 -- The Election Commission today informed that no objection had been filed regarding the final voters' list of 7.42 crores electorate recorded in the electoral rolls, released after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) for the Bihar assembly elections.
According to a tweet of Election Commission on social media account X, no objection has been received regarding the final voters' list released on September 1, after completion of Special Intensive Revision(SIR) for Bihar assembly elections.
A total of 7.42 crores voters were listed in the final electoral rolls released after SIR and as per provisions, any objection could be filed ten days before the last date of filing of nomination papers for assembly elections.
