Srinagar, March 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday dismissed the BJP's "move to form a shadow cabinet", asserting that there is no need for this in J&K.
He emphasized that the "government of the people" will run Jammu and Kashmir.
"The cabinet is one. There is no concept of a shadow cabinet in our country," Abdullah made the remarks while visiting the residence of the late Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi to offer condolences.
Masoodi, who passed away on February 27, was the father-in-law of Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the brother of National Conference leader Hasnain Masoodi.
