Kolkata, Sept. 1 -- On the first day of the special session of the West Bengal assembly, Speaker Biman Banerjee said that from now onwards, no legislator but the chief minister will be allowed to enter the West Bengal legislative assembly with personal security guards.
"No personal security guards of the members will be allowed inside the assembly. The similar rules exist in the Lok Sabha as well as other state legislatures," Banerjee told the media after the opening of the special session of the assembly today.
