Kolhapur, Sept. 18 -- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) president Sharad Pawar said he has no moral right to ask Prime Minister to step down from his prime ministerial role after he turned 75, because he (Pawar) himself has not stopped working after that age.
Addressing a press conference here this morning, Pawar extended his greetings to Prime Minister on his 75th birthday and said, "I did not stop after seventy-five, I have then no moral right to stop him."Criticising Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis, Pawar said, "The CM should focus on farmers whose agricultural land has been damaged due to severe rainfall in the state and provide them with immediate assistance."Pawar clarified that it was not necessary to contest elections together ...
