Srinagar, March 12 -- J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that no liquor vends are being advertised or allotted by his government.

The office of Chief Minister was responding to a report by a section of the media that suggested that the government has launched bids for opening of liquor shops in the union territory including in four districts of the Kashmir valley.

"TV channels & news portals should immediately stop peddling this lie," the office of CM said in a post on X.
