Bengaluru, July 7 -- Amid growing speculation over a possible link between COVID-19 vaccines and rising heart attacks among younger adults, the Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Dr Ravindranath today categorically stated that no direct connection has been found.
Citing extensive analysis of global and national research, including ICMR data, Dr Ravindranath clarified that the rise in cardiac events is not vaccine-related.
"We have thoroughly reviewed data from international journals, ICMR studies, and other published literature," he told reporters in press conference. "We could not find any direct correlation between COVID vaccines and heart attacks."
