Mumbai, July 17 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will celebrate his birthday on July 22.
In a notable move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has urged its leaders and party workers not to put up hoardings, banners, or release advertisements in newspapers or on television to mark the occasion.
BJP office secretary Mukund Kulkarni issued a statement today conveying this directive and emphasised that any violation-such as displaying hoardings or publishing ads-will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter by the party.
Instead of celebrations, the party has encouraged all well-wishers and supporters to contribute generously to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund as a meaningful way to honor the occasion.
