Bengaluru, July 18 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai today launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, accusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of failing to back his social justice rhetoric with real action.
Bommai made these remarks in response to the recent AICC meeting that focused on OBC welfare.
"The state has eight OBC development corporations, but not a single one has received financial support from the government," Bommai said, calling it a blatant failure in the delivery of welfare programmes. "They talk of OBC upliftment, but no targeted funds have been allocated."
