Nagpur, March 26 -- : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said that the recent increase in fertiliser sales suggests panic buying by farmers and cautioned against hoarding.

Speaking to a section of the media in Nagpur, Fadnavis assured that there is no shortage of fertilisers in the state and adequate stock is available.

Panic buying of fuels and fertilisers has been seen in many parts of the country amid the war in West Asia.

Fadnavis warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in hoarding or black marketing of fertilisers.
