Patna, March 25 -- Ruling out violation of domicile policy in teachers' appointment, Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that there is no such policy in the appointment of teachers in the state.
While replying to a question of RJD member Bhai Virendra during the pre-lunch sitting in Bihar assembly on Tuesday, Kumar said that the government was not mulling over introducing the domicile policy. However, he said that of the total number of teachers, 80 percent were from Bihar and only 20- 22 percent were from outside the state.
He informed that a requisition for the appointment of 7000 specially abled teachers has been sent to the Bihar Public Service Commission which would soon initiate the process.
