Lucknow, Feb. 19 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, said on Thursday that there is no provision for direct government employment under the Skills Development Department.
Replying to questions in the state assembly, he said the department's primary focus is to make youth employable by providing them with skill training as per industry demand. Recruitment to government services is done through competitive examinations, and this system applies equally to all educational and training institutions, he said.
