Ankara, July 21 -- Turkey has not received any proposals regarding the date of the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, a Turkish diplomatic source told Sputnik on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the Independent Turkish newspaper reported, citing diplomatic sources, that talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations could take place in Istanbul by the end of the week, provisionally on July 23 or July 24.

"There are no specific signals yet," the source said in a comment on the tentative date of the negotiations.
