Mumbai, Feb. 27 -- Marathi Language Pride Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Vidhan Bhavan on the birth anniversary of eminent poet Kusumagraj, also known as V V Shirwadkar.

A special programme titled 'Jaave Vinodachya Gaava', organised by the Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat, featured readings from classical Marathi humorous literature, dialogues and cultural performances.

On the occasion, the book 'Loksevecha Lokjagar', edited by the V S Page Parliamentary Training Centre, was released by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
