Mumbai, Jan. 26 -- Secretary of Women & Child Development Department, Anup Kumar Yadav, on Sunday dismissed a news report in a section of media that the benefits of Chief Minister's Ladkhi Bahin Yojana given to beneficiaries by the government are being forcibly withdrawn from them, saying that it is not true.
In an official press statement released here, Yadav stated that, in this scheme, some beneficiaries are voluntarily returning the benefit amount as they are ineligible as per the terms and conditions of the women's scheme.
Also, those women who voluntarily decline to accept the benefit in the next period, the benefit is not given considering their request, he added.
