Aurangabad, Feb. 2 -- Counting of votes started since Thursday morning in the Aurangabad Division teacher constituency elections.

However, after counting of first preference, none of the candidates could complete the first preference quota of the vote counting which took place till 1500 hours .

Hence , the second preference vote counting has started.

It is expected that the result be out by tonight.

According to sources, quota of 25,386 was set in the first preference round to win the election, but as none of the candidates got that many votes, now the counting of votes for the second preference has started.
