Srinagar, Oct. 1 -- The Ladakh union Territory Administration denied reports of "witch-hunting" against activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was detained under the stringent National Security Act (NSA).
A statement from the Directorate of Information & Public Relations emphasised that all government actions are based on credible inputs and documented evidence, calling allegations of victimisation "baseless."The administration said that there is "no question of witch-hunting or creating a smoke screen" and stressed that investigations by law enforcement agencies must continue impartially, relying on documented facts.
