New Delhi, May 19 -- The recent military conflict between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terrorist attack was ''conventional'' and there was no 'nuclear signalling' by Islamabad, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told the Parliament Standing Committee here on Monday.

Mr Misri also told the Standing Committee on External Affairs that US had no role in the cessation of the conflict and Pakistan had reached out to India on May 10 afternoon after the precision strikes by Indian Defence forces on Pakistani military installations including the Nur Khan air base.

Mr Misri who gave a detailed briefing to the Standing Committee on Operation Sindoor, said there was no 'third-party mediation, sources said.
