Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- State-owned NMDC reported a strong performance in January 2025, producing 5.10 million tonnes (MnT) and selling 4.48 MnT of iron ore.
This marks a positive outlook for the year, with cumulative production and sales reaching 35.87 MnT and 36.22 MnT, respectively, as of January 2025.
The January 2025 production saw a significant 12.33 per cent increase over the corresponding period last year, making it the highest-ever production for the month of January since the company's inception. This strong start highlights NMDC's commitment to meeting growing mineral demand and supporting India's industrial aspirations as it progresses toward self-reliance.
