Bhubaneswar, Aug. 10 -- Andrology is an important component of the healthcare system, yet it continues to have a limited presence in India's health education framework, National Medical Commission President Dr. Vijay Oza said today.
"We are introducing several reforms in medical education to ensure andrology receives greater emphasis, including an enhanced scope, specialized qualifications, and focused training," Dr. Oza said while addressing the Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme AndroXcell 2025.
The one-day workshop aimed to present the latest advancements, clinical insights, and best practices in andrology to healthcare professionals, with a focus on male sexual dysfunction and male infertility.
