Patna, Sept. 5 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today called upon Janata Dal (United) workers to stay active ahead of the upcoming elections and asked them to go door-to-door and inform people about the development work carried out under his government.

During an interaction programme with the party workers in Sikariya village of Paliganj block in Patna district, the chief minister told them that elections were only a few days away and stressedthat the state had made rapid progress over the years.

He asked the party activists to actively work for the elections for which he suggested them toapprise the people about the work done for them by the government.
