Patna, March 17 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced a major development package for Bhagalpur district, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for 144 projects worth Rs 442 crore during his Samriddhi Yatra.
The Chief Minister virtually unveiled foundation plaques for these projects from Baijani village in Jagdishpur block. The package includes the inauguration of 88 projects worth Rs 171 crore and the foundation laying for 56 projects costing Rs 271 crore.
During the visit, Kumar also inspected the progress of the approach road and Road Over Bridge (ROB) on the Bhagalpur-Bounsi railway line. He reviewed various development and welfare schemes and took detailed updates from officials regarding their implementation.
