Jehanabad, March 23 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday announced development projects worth Rs 252 crore for Jehanabad district during his Samriddhi Yatra.

At a function held at Gandhi Maidan, the Chief Minister remotely inaugurated 88 schemes worth Rs 70 crore and laid the foundation stones for 73 projects costing Rs 182 crore.

During his visit, Kumar reviewed the progress of various development initiatives in the district and directed officials to expedite the implementation of projects announced earlier.

He also inaugurated a stitching training cum production centre for Jeevika women at the old block office premises and inspected its facilities.
