Patna, Nov. 17 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday recommended to the Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan for dissolution of the state assembly.
Kumar, after a meeting of his cabinet, last of the present tenure, recommended dissolution of Bihar assembly. A resolution recommending dissolution of Bihar assembly, was unanimously accepted in the meeting of state cabinet.
Chief minister, immediately after meeting of his state cabinet, drove straight to Rajbhawan where he handed over a letter to the Governor, requesting him to dissolve the Bihar assembly .
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Parliamentary affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary had also accompanied Chief Minister Kumar when he called on the Governor.
