Patna, June 5 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday paid floral tributes to veteran freedom fighter and great revolutionary Jaiprakash Narayan to mark Sampoorna Kranti Diwas, the day he had made a clarion call for change in the system in all spheres.
Kumar, also a staunch follower of J P, paid floral tributes to him on his statue installed near Gandhi Maidan in Patna. He recalled the contribution of J P during the freedom struggle and also in the mid-seventies, as he had made the clarion call for total revolution in a massive public meeting addressed by him at historic Gandhi Maidan on June 5, 1974. He also interacted with some of those present on the occasion, who had participated in the JP movement.
