Patna, Aug. 11 -- Bihar Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today laid the foundation stones for six major infrastructure projects worth Rs 766.73 crore for development of the Western region of Patna, primarily focusing on road expansion and connectivity, transformation traffic conditions, reduction of congestion and to support the region's rapid urban growth.

While laying the foundation stones for the projects at various ceremonies held at AIIMS Golambar and near the Kothwan-Rupaspur Canal, Kumar said here that the development would directly benefit commuters and residents in one of Patna's fastest-growing corridors.
