Patna, Nov. 20 -- Nitish Kumar was today sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth term, along with several ministers, following a historic victory for the NDA in the recently concluded state assembly elections.
Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath to Kumar at a ceremony held at the iconic Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
This marks Kumar's tenth tenure as Chief Minister since he first assumed office in March 2000. In his initial term, he was unable to secure the required 122-seat majority in the 243-member assembly and resigned after just seven days.
