Patna, March 8 -- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Sunday alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's long-standing claims against dynastic politics have proved to be hollow following the political entry of his son Nishant Kumar.

RJD state spokesperson Ejaz Ahmad said that Nitish Kumar had often projected himself as a strong opponent of dynastic politics, but recent developments indicated otherwise.

He alleged that the Chief Minister had been looking for an opportunity to bring his son into politics and that the decision to move to the Rajya Sabha was aimed at paving the way for Nishant Kumar's political rise.
