Patna, Nov. 19 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected as the leader of the JD(U) legislature party in the state assembly on Wednesday.
The decision was taken during a meeting of all newly elected JD(U) MLAs at 1 Anne Marg, the official residence of the Chief Minister. Party leaders congratulated Kumar on the landslide victory of the JD(U) and the NDA as a whole, and expressed their gratitude to the people of Bihar for entrusting the alliance with another term in office.
