Katihar, Sept. 27 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 242 development projects worth Rs 583 crore in Katihar district.
During a public event Kumar unveiled plaques for the projects. Out of the total, 224 projects worth Rs 73.59 crore were inaugurated, while 18 projects worth Rs 332.53 crore were launched through foundation stone laying.
The projects include development of tourist facilities at the historic Baba Gorakhnath Dham temple in Azamnagar block at a cost of Rs 14.25 crore, construction of two road overbridges (ROBs) in Katihar Rail at an expenditure of Rs 193.65 crore, conservation and beautification of Gogabil Lake as a tourist destination, at a cost of Rs 10.22 crore construc...
