Patna, Sept. 22 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed government officials to ensure speedy and high-quality implementation of all urban development and housing projects across the state.
While inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for a series of urban development and housing projects worth over Rs 979 crore at Mauryalok Complex in Patna, Kumar asked the authorities to ensure speedy completion of the projects.
He also distributed appointment letters to newly recruited city managers.
Under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme, Kumar unveiled plaques and laid the foundation stone for 1,300 projects across 33 districts, with a total cost of Rs 769.63 crore.
