Patna, Feb. 5 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar initiated 160 projects worth Rs 438.51 crore for development of Munger district.
During the fourth phase of his Pragati Yatra, Kumar visited Munger on Wednesday where he initiated the projects designed for over all progress of the district.
After reviewing the progress of the ongoing projects, the Chief Minister announced to establish industrial park on 300 acre land in Sangrampur block, construction of ring road and bypass.
He said the government would establish a degree College in Asarganj and would lift water of river Ganga to Kharagpur Lake for irrigation purpose.
During his visit, Nitish visited various places being developed under different schemes.
