Bhagalpur, Sept. 25 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 59 development projects worth Rs 301 crore in Arar-Dhuave village of Sanhoula block here.

Kumar laid the foundation stone of 16 projects of Rs 160.71 crore and inaugurated 43 projects at Rs 141.99 crore, offering a major development package for the district.

Earlier, Kumar unveiled the life size statue of former Bihar Assembly Speaker late Sadanand Singh at Dhuave village.

He also visited stalls set up by various government departments and interacted with beneficiaries to review the implementation of welfare schemes.
