Patna, Aug. 19 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today distributed appointment letters to 5,353 dependents of deceased teachers and non-teaching staff of government schools, recruited on compassionate grounds.
Kumar symbolically handed over the appointment letters to select candidates in a function held here at the Chief Minister's Secretariat. While distributing the appointment letters, Kumar expressed confidence that the newly appointed employees would work with "honesty, sincerity, and dedication" in carrying out their responsibilities.
The appointees include 4,835 school clerks and 518 school attendants, marking one of the largest rounds of such appointments in recent years.
