Patna, April 8 -- In a significant step towards strengthening the public healthcare system, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday distributed appointment letters to 4,954 newly recruited Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs).

In a function held at the Energy Auditorium in the state capital Patna, the Chief Minister symbolically handed over appointment letters to three candidates Vinita Kumari, Swati Kumari and Roshni Kumari.

Addressing the gathering, Kumar congratulated all the newly appointed ANMs and extended his best wishes. He expressed confidence that they would carry out their responsibilities with sincerity, dedication and a strong sense of duty.
